Registration Information

This summer, students in grades K through 6 have the opportunity to strengthen their reading, writing, and math skills through engaging learning experiences designed to prepare them for a successful start to the new school year. 

To reserve your child's spot, please complete the Summer Learning Registration Form. Registration is required for enrollment. When completing this form, please pay attention to the information at the top of the form, as some summer locations have changed. We look forward to learning, growing, and celebrating success with your child this summer!

Centralized Elementary Summer School (K-6)

Districtwide Elementary summer learning experiences for July 2026 will take place at the following school campuses:

  • Virgil I. Grissom School No. 7
  • Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. School No. 9
  • Anna Murray Douglass Academy School No. 12
  • Dr. David and Ruth B. Anderson School No. 16
  • Abraham Lincoln School No. 22
  • World of Inquiry School No. 58

Program Dates:  July 13, 2026 - August 7, 2026
Daily Schedule:  4 hours daily

Program Description: Built to keep the learning going all summer long!  Open to eligible students in grades K-6.  These elementary programs offer structured literacy and math learning experiences designed to support student growth.  Students will build crucial foundational skills through engaging learning activities and a structured day featuring 75-minute ELA and Math blocks, plus time for breakfast, lunch, and recess.  Comprehensive support for multilingual and bilingual learners, ensures every student succeeds!

Roc City Players (4-12)

Daily Schedule:  6 hours daily

Program Description:  Step into the spotlight and let your creativity shine!  Roc City Players in an inclusive, district-wide theater program open to all RCSD students in grades 4 through 12.  Auditions are held for casting purposes only - every single student who wishes to participate is guaranteed a part in the final production.  Join us to develop your acting skills, build your confidence, and have an unforgettable summer on stage!
